Dr. Hedstrom earned her MD degree at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, and her BS degree at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She also earned a master’s at the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. Dr. Hedstrom completed OB/GYN residencies at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She completed her fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Texas in Houston.
